Among my many comic-making experiments, I've always wondered about the possibility of comics as videos. I was looking through some old comics (from 2005), and remembered this idea for a kid who thought he was a superhero and from another planet. I still like that idea. It's very autobiographical, by the way.
So in the Summer of 2022, I decided to take that idea and make something new. I decided to set the comic in the year 1988. From there, I realized that a Nintendo approach to storytelling would work well.
